UESPoints: 5 | Cariona, the console advance stage option works by telling the story to progress to a certain stage, or chapter, in the quest. Each part of a quest is a different chapter to help progress it along (and give you journal updates, set certain things in motion, etc.). For each of these you can find them on the quest page for that storyline over at the wiki - yours is right here, in fact! - and then enter it into the console on the PC. If you go to the bottom, you will see a chart. To the left is the stage, and to the right the objective / journal entry. But don't use the console unless you know what you're doing! OK, it's impossible to know without wasting time playing through them in every possible combination of ways, but at least you have a save to revert to if things go wrong later. This is why Bethesda should be writing quests in a way that ensures NO quest can conflict with any other. As it stands, the number of possibilities for conflicts quickly grows exponentially, making it impossible to fully debug ALL quests in anything less than years, even decades. I'm so used to playing the games that don't give you a lot of free will and make it so you have only one option. Playing this game where I have a lot of different options is so hard for me. I can't decide!!!! and then I'm going back second guessing myself. its a real delema. | ||
