“Had a couples photo shoot with my husband for our 26th anniversary. Afterwards we decided to stop in to Casa Del Barco for dinner . We were seated without a wait which was surprising but great for a Friday evening . We had a wonderful waiter Shawn , he was very attentive, friendly and went above and beyond to make sure things were good. After our dinner (which was delicious!) Shawn brought us a dessert to help us celebrate our anniversary . A must try place of your ever in Richmond .“

“Not enough stars to really rate this......Came in for the first time this evening and I have to say love the ambience of the restaurant.. What really took my breath away was the food.. I ordered the Quesabirria tacos (3) regular and woooooow.. Amazingly wonderfully flavored.. I will definitely eat here again and again..they have earned a faithful customer here... My stomach can't thank them enough.. beyond perfect“

“Just went by to order the best thing on the menu - that I had been craving and recommending to everyone - and it is no longer available. Boo. The ‘replacement’ for the fabulous ‘Plato del Pacifico’ salad doesn’t come close. Too bad. Dare we hope that decision can be reconsidered?“

“These people are saints! To stay open until 130 on a Saturday and have Door Dash delivery, you saved my life. The quality at midnight on a Saturday was perfection. Some of the best tacos I've had and the maduros hit that spot that was craving comfort food!“

“We have been dining here since they opened many, many years ago. The reason is because the food is always authentic and freshly made, the price is always good and the staff do a great job to make you comfortable. My wife and I are eating here again this Sunday for our 39th wedding anniversary. We have made this our go to place for many of our Birthdays and anniversaries.Thanks for the memories!“

“I've past this truck everyday since becoming permanent resident at Lucky Mart . Which I am regular customer. Finally able to place an order. Everything was great service with a smile. Good authentic flavor. Mostly . Last ¼ the not quite large enough compared to other $13 burrito it had an ingredient that had turn sour. Good people. Good effort. Will hope next visit is better.“

“Great experience. Greeted by several staff members on a Friday evening. They encouraged us to speak Spanish which was fun. We were regularly checked on. The place was lovely. It’s a more modern look than the traditional Mexican restaurants. The music was great and there were large TVs playing soccer at the time. The food was awesome. Very good margaritas. I thought about it for days, wanting to go back. There’s a big seafood entree that looked yummy, not sure what it included but I want to find out!“

“I wanted to call and personally speak to someone, as well as leave a good review on Google, but I couldn’t get through. I just wanted to thank the two ladies that served me and my boyfriend when we visited the restaurant for a to go order. Jefferson Davis gets a bad name me personally I don’t like Jefferson Davis lol, but I looked at the reviews at this location and decided to give it a shot, Based off of the appearance, I’ve never been wanted to judge a book by its cover when it comes to good food. Myself and my boyfriend ordered beef and chicken taco combos, and they were so delicious I Greatly appreciate how sweet the ladies were and the quality of food that was served to us. May God wrap his arms around the people that work in this restaurant and may God continue to bless this business It’s definitely A breath of fresh air to be able to get Wonderful service like this in this day and age and we will most definitely be back 100 times over. ?? “We catered a welcome dinner for our wedding for 90 guests through Jalapenos in Carytown. The event was at a local brewery. We ordered a wide variety of items including tortillas, fajitas, steak, chicken, rice, quesadillas, dip, and other items. All the food was extremely fresh and tasty, with great portions! It came right on time, and was set up perfectly! We received so many compliments on all the food, and people kept going back for seconds. Carlos and his team were such a pleasure to work with, and cared so much about the success of our event. We could not recommend them enough.“

“I stumbled across Taqueria Isabel after a very long day and wanted to eat something tasty from a local small business. The food is delicious! All items are à la carte, made to order and fair priced. Loli was very patient with me as I was quite indecisive before ordering and the other staff members were kind as well. The lot location is perfect for capturing more business and adds character. I’m normally not in that area, but I’m so glad I found this food truck!“

Took 15 minutes to get three al pastor tacos; I ordered a Pacifico —repeated it three times—and somehow got a Victoria, which I drank anyway. (The bottles both have yellow… probably honest mistake but there is a little language barrier.) It was lunch hour but not busy at all. Two ladies came in after I’d been waiting five minutes and still got food five minutes before me… maybe they are regulars or called ahead? Tacos were good, but felt a little overpriced at three for $9. Not a bad experience but there are lots of other options along this stretch of highway…“

“Frida's is small, but they maximize the space, and it's very comfortable. Food is extremely fresh, portions are generous, and prices are fair. The margarita was strong, and I appreciated feeling like I got my money's worth for it. The tortilla bowl they make for salads is far better than the tortilla bowls at many other Mexican restaurants - you want to eat the entire bowl in addition to your salad. I only have two minor complaints. One, the chips are a bit thicker than many Mexican restaurants. I prefer the thinner ones, but that's just a personal preference, and Frida's chips are still very good. Two, the fajitas are huge, but they only give you two tortillas and charge you for additional. I don't mind being charged for additional tortillas, but when they only give you two to start with, it stings a little. Even three would be great. But, this stuff is minor compared to how good everything was. This was our first visit to Frida's, and we will definitely be back!“

“Came for lunch. There weren't many people in there but it filled up really quick after about 10 minutes. Make sure you know some kind of Spanish because there is only one worker there who speaks English. The tacos were decent sized and the prices weren't bad just less cilantro and onions and more meat was needed for them. The place is small so depending on how many people are in at the time you mat be waiting for a little bit. Not bad I'd come back again.“

“Wow excellent food. The food is authentic. The drinks are amazing. The drinks actually have alcohol. The place is very welcoming and the staff were really nice! I will be returning especially it’s 5 minutes away. I recommend if you want to eat good food and have a good drink with friends or family. “I just moved here from Chicago. In my opinion Chicago has the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever tasted, so I thought. I got to this place and was pleasantly surprised! The food was delicious! The menu was so fulfilled with all of my favorites that it was hard to pick what I wanted. I ended up picking a combination plate with 2 chicken enchiladas and a beef taco. My husband picked a Philly cheesesteak quesadilla. When I tell you this food was seasoned and cooked to perfection!! I wanted to go kiss and hug the chef! Oh and I had a sangria which was refreshing and potent. I have labeled this restaurant as my Top Notch Mexican restaurant. I don’t even want to try any other ones. This fits me to a T!!“
