Aunt Lou here…aka Sweet Tooth Queen.
Cris and I grew up in the country outside a small town on ourfamily farm. In our small town, Crock Pot Cakes, Cookies and Candies were often used to show someone you cared. If someone was ill or suffering through a loss, food was brought. When a drunk driver drove his truck into the front of our house the night before Christmas Eve when we were kids, people brought food while our family tried to put our home back together (thankfully, Cris and I are not only farmers’ daughters, we are carpenters’ daughters too!). When there was a reason to celebrate, people brought food. While the food was always good, the cookies, cakes and candies always were and always will be my favorites!
When the holidays arrive, we made Christmas platters full of cookies and candies for our friends, families and local businesses we went to all the time. Making these cookies, cakes and candies with mom and Cris are some of my fondest memories. I remember being in awe of how my mom could make anything. She is amazing. And Cris and I loved to sneak a few of the special chocolates mom bought from The Cake Lady’s Shop to make her treats. (It is still my favorite chocolate ever!) So, dear readers, what if we all took a step back from the chaos of our lives and share a little love with each other. Maybe you want to make it a big project like Momma did when we were kids. Maybe it is with those in your household you want to share with. Or maybe you need to give yourself a little TLC and treat yourself. I am sure you can find something in this list of Crock Pot Cakes, Cookies and Candies that will tickle your fancy. And while we may not be able to bring something to each and everyone of you, I hope you know the love we have for our readers is in every post we do!

I don’t have a recipe to share either but I do enjoy your posts so much.
I was wondering if you have a recipe for caramels – not the dip but wrapped in wax paper caramels and/or hard cinnamon candies?
Those would be terrific additions to this list!
